The symptoms of subacute neuroglycopenia are relatively unobtrusive and generally more apparent to others than to the patient themselves. Subacute neuroglycopenia is the symptom complex that is most commonly produced by overdosage with sulphonylureas and by diseases that cause spontaneous hypoglycaemia.
